Temptations in my life include Luke (lust), watching tv/sitting online for hours being unproductive (sloth/acedia) and being quick to anger. The acedia/sloth one is definitely something that is having a negative impact on many facets of my life - school, work, social, even spiritual. I think it's a combination of depression and my sort of defeatist attitude about my depression. But I'm not helpless and I'm not alone, and I think that finding appropriate verses, writing them down and carrying them with me, and referencing them when I need a reminder could really help with that. This definitely links to yesterdays, because not only is talking to yourself important, but you have to make sure you say the right thing for the situation.
